Distribution of the plant

A sweet orange is known only in culture. It is widely cultivated in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy), Israel, North Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco), USA (California, Florida), Mexico, Brazil, Guinea, and a number of other countries in the subtropical and tropical zones.

Orange Essential Oil (Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil Expressed) properties: yellow, yellow-brown or orange liquid with a characteristic smell of orange fruit and gentle without bitterness taste of fresh orange slices, it becomes turbid on cooling.

Orange essential oil uses

Orange oil blends with oils of jasmine, cypress, coriander, cinnamon, lavender, incense, juniper, nutmeg, geranium, rose, rosewood, as well as with neroli and petitgrune oils.

Side effects of orange oil

With prolonged use and a significant dosage, irritation of the sensitive skin, as well as an increase in its photosensitivity, is possible. Do not apply on the skin for less than 1 hour before sunbathing.
