Mandarin essential oil (Citrus reticulate) is obtained by pressing of fresh peel of mandarin fruit – Citrus unshiu L. (Swingle) Marcow. or Citrus reticulata Blanco (family of rutaceae – Rutaceae).

Distribution of the plant
In the wild state is unknown. The plant is widely cultivated in the Mediterranean, Japan, Indochina, Brazil, USA.
Mandarin oil properties
Light, flowing, yellow-orange, orange-red or dark orange liquid with bluish fluorescence (especially when diluted with alcohol) and the smell of mandarin fruit.
